Terms of service
1. General
1.1. These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to all contracts between dorritochan pottery (“we/us”) and our customers (“you”) regarding the purchase of goods from our online shop dorritochan.com.
1.2. Deviating terms and conditions of the customer are not recognized unless we explicitly agree to their validity.
1.3. Our offer is directed at customers with residence or delivery addresses in Germany and other member states of the European Union (EU).

3. Conclusion of the Contract
3.1. The presentation of products in our online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order.
3.2. By clicking the “Buy Now” button, you place a binding order for the goods in your shopping cart.
3.3. A confirmation of receipt of your order will be sent by email immediately after you place your order. This confirmation does not yet constitute acceptance of the contract.
3.4. The purchase contract is concluded only upon our explicit order confirmation or upon the shipment of the goods.
4. Products and Prices
4.1. All products are handcrafted ceramic goods. Due to the artisanal production, slight variations in shape, color, and size may occur.
4.2. All prices are final prices. VAT is not shown, as per § 19 UStG (Small Business Regulation).
4.3. Additional shipping costs may apply, which will be displayed before placing your order.
5. Payment
5.1. The following payment methods are available:
- PayPal
- Prepayment (bank transfer)
- Credit card
- Other payment methods depending on your location (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay)
5.2. Payment is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.
5.3. Payments are processed through our payment service provider Shopify Payments, which ensures your transaction is secure and encrypted.
5.4. The availability of specific payment methods may depend on the customer’s location.
6. Delivery
6.1. Delivery is made to the address you specify.
6.2. Estimated delivery times:
- Within Germany: 3–5 business days
- Within the EU: 6–8 business days
6.3. We carefully package all products to ensure safe transport.
6.4. In case of delays, we will notify you promptly via email.
6.5. The risk of loss or damage during shipping is borne by us until the goods reach you.
7. Right of Withdrawal
7.1. Consumers are entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal.
Withdrawal Policy
Right of Withdrawal:
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
Withdrawal Period:
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the goods.
Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal:
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are not pre-manufactured and for whose production an individual selection or specification by the consumer is decisive, or that are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.
8. Warranty
8.1. Statutory warranty rights apply.
8.2. Craft-related irregularities (e.g., slight differences in color, shape, or size) do not constitute defects.
8.3. For damages to the goods:
- Document the damage with photos.
- Contact us within 48 hours of receipt.
- Retain the packaging.
- Do not return the goods without prior consultation.
9. Retention of Title
The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.
10. Data Protection
The collection, processing, and use of your personal data are carried out in accordance with our privacy policy. Further details can be found in our privacy policy.
11. Final Provisions
11.1. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
11.2. For consumers, the statutory provisions on the place of jurisdiction apply.
11.3. Should individual provisions of these T&Cs be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
